Recovery from Childhood Trauma and Adversity
In a perfect world, childhood trauma and adversity wouldn't exist.
In a perfect world no child would be subjected to any types of abuse.
Unfortunately we don't live in a perfect world and children are not protected as they should be and are abused by those who should be caring for them.
Surviving through this abuse as a child is one thing, but coming to terms with it and finding healing as an adult is another.
Today's podcast guest is a survivor of all forms of abuse and neglect.
Chris Tuck is an author, accountant, and a health and wellness coach, and she has dedicated her life to raising awareness of the impact of childhood abuse.
In this interview, Chris shares her own story and chats about the amazing work that she does to help empower other survivors of abuse.
Chris also shares advice on how to get help should you be a survivor who wishes to begin on that journey of recovery.
