What Can You Expect from This Book?


The aim of this book is to help you resolve your insomnia issues. It is also there to help you understand the importance of sleep, and how lack of sleep may be having a serious impact on your health.

Therefore you can find a brief outline helping you to understand the process and importance of sleep, followed by steps you can take to identify the root cause of your sleeplessness.

Once identified, the rest of the book concentrates on ways to help you to resolve your insomnia. 

Some of these ways are ones which I use, others are ones which were suggested to me by others over the years.


A Holistic Approach


I believe that there is never one straight forward answer to any problem. I believe that all problems should be looked at on different perspectives and treated by resolving each issue that contributes to the main problem.

With this in mind, I have written this book as a holistic approach to curing your insomnia - that is, looking at lots of different elements that cause it, and likewise, lots of different ways in which to treat it.


Why Did I Write This Book?


Like you, I have suffered many periods of sleep deprivation during my life.

From not being able to sleep due to worry and stress, through being ill or in pain, to just developing bad habits after the birth of my babies. Each time I have suffered many associated health problems, such as weight gain, and suffered from brain-fog leading me to make poor and irrational decisions that have had a negative impact on my life.

 Over the years I have learned to keep my sleeplessness to a minimum. I have used my knowledge and experience to help resolve my insomnia, and as each case of sleeplessness can be caused by a number of reasons, I have learned what to do and when, depending on the root of the problem.

After hearing that sleeplessness was also a huge issue for so many of my clients, I decided that I should share my own cures to help others out of this weary, exhausting downward spiral.


THE IMPORTANCE OF SLEEP


One thing I know is that if you donā€™t sleep, your physical and mental health suffers. You also just feel pretty rubbish, day in, day out.
